In her role as an advisor to employers Robyn regularly provides practical advice and counsel on a wide range of employment-related issues, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims; employee classification and wage and hour laws; noncompetition, non-solicitation and nondisclosure agreements; codes of conduct and employee handbooks; leaves of absence and disability accommodations; hiring and dismissal decisions; reductions in force; human resource policies; employment and separation agreements; and mergers and acquisitions.
Robyn has advised human resource personnel on and performed approximately one hundred internal investigations. She also has prepared and presented employment law training programs to human resource professionals and middle and senior management on legal issues related to all aspects of an employee’s life cycle as well as how to perform internal workplace investigations.
Robyn has been recognized for excellence in the law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a Top Women of the Year and received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. She is on the Steering Committee for the Labor and Employment section of the Boston Bar Association, a Senior Editor of the American Bar Association’s treatise on State Wage and Hour Laws, and a past ABA Advisor to the Wage Garnishment Act Drafting Committee of the Uniform Law Commission.
Robyn is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Massachusetts and New York, and before the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
